Summary
Cormac is a Hamilton ON based Art Director from Dublin, Ireland with 17+ years experience in design, photography and illustration. He has worked with a broad range of clients and on high profile national projects. In 2007 he won a Digital Media Design Award and in 1998 won a Glen Dimplex Design Award. He has also been involved as illustrator and designer on several award winning projects.


Career Experience
Cormac has worked in Dublin, London and Amsterdam. After graduating college in 1989 he worked for several years in the animation industry for, amongst others, Murakimi Wolf and Universal Studios, before embarking on his career in design.

In 1995 Cormac began as a multimedia graphic designer for Martello Media, a specialist in the heritage sector, where he was involved in many award winning interactive exhibitions and displays. In 2001 he left Martello as art director and moved to the Netherlands to work with the then newly established Amsterdam branch of Philips Design, working primarily on design and research projects for the various companies that come under the umbrella of Philips (Philips Electronics, Philips Lighting, Philishave Norelco). He returned to Dublin in 2003 to join One Productions.

He has been working freelance since 2009.

Extracurricular Activities
Cormac worked as resident photographer for numerous venues, clubs, promoters and festivals in both Ireland and Europe. He has photographed many bands and recording artists for PR and album sleves. He is also a fashion and portrait photographer.

Cormac played bass with Ireland's longest running punk band Paranoid Visions, recording and touring extensively in Ireland, UK, Europe and US. He has also worked with performer/composer/producer Daniel Figgis (Virgin Prunes, Princess Tinymeat), performing at Symphony Space on Broadway NY, National Concert Hall Dublin and Wexford Opera House.
